Music Review- Taylor Swift: The Archer

I will be honest, I did not like Taylor Swift’s “You Need To Calm Down.” I found it annoying, childish, and pandering to a woke crowd. That being said, I actually did enjoy The Archer, since it was done in the same style of Delicate and Read For It.

“I’ve been the archer, I’ve been the prey,” is probably the best line in the whole song. It definitely has a flare of the many public feuds Swift has had as told from her point of view. These are the songs that Taylor Swift are best at. It has that pop music vibe that makes her sound so unique. The lyrics are focused and catchy with music that matches the tone. In my humble opinion, this is the true hit from Taylor Swift’s new album, not the self-aggrandizing and pandering “You Need To Calm Down.” It is what she does best.
