God is Good All the Time

01 Christian Inspiration

This week has been very hectic for me. I am currently attending my Third Year Internship at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry in Redding, California. Being a Texas native, California traffic laws are new to me and they can honestly be very frustrating. Of course, I have no doubt any out-of-staters would find Texas Property Tax law to be frustrating as well.

Apart from getting my car legal, I am low on funds. I have started a new job and my first day was not, shall we say, as productive as it could have been. My internship keeps me busy and this week is particularly crazy because we start a new class that I help maintain as well as other various projects. I was biting my tongue to keep from snapping at people.

The combination of all has been seriously frustrating and stressful. At times, I just wanted to yell out.

Today, however, was different. God showed me in the simplest way that He is good. He provided blessing for me in a way I did not think was possible. He sees us through these stressful times and brings blessing and favor.

I feel sorry for people who believe God is only about judgment and fear. I could not have gone through a weekend like this without thinking that God is loving, kind, and merciful. His blessings for me at the start of this week have been amazing! I am reminded of His goodness and love.

For all of you out there having tough and harsh weeks, just remember that God is good all the time, and all the time God is good.

As Romans 8:35 (HCSB) says,

Who can separate us from the love of Christ? Can affliction or anguish or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
