In reply to kc5wok. I know this isn't my blog, but I saw your comment and just had to say, "Same here!" I was nearly hospitalized for depression..it had gotten to the point where I wasn't allowed to be alone. I'd been fighting it (in my own strength) for over a decade. But I found a great Christian counselor who helped me see Gods truth, and who I really was in Him. I've been anti-depression meds FREE for nearly 13 years now. Praise God! I will be praying, and believing for, your continued success! Be blessed.

I was once suffering from chronic depression, for years. Then about 8 months ago God told me that the root of my depression was in believing the lies of the enemy. I’ve been off anti-depressants for 7 months now and as long as I stay grounded in Truth I’m free of depression.

This is a great post. Truth hurts at first but it will indeed set us free. 🙂
