Book Review- Eyes of Justice

The fourth and, as of the writing of this review, final book in Lis Wiehl and April Henry’s crime series Triple Threat brings the series to a dramatic, sad, yet incredible ending. Believe me, it will shock you. There are some spoilers in this review, but don’t worry, I don’t give away the ending.

FBI Agent Nicole Hedges and Federal Prosecutor Allison Pierce find their crime TV reporter friend Cassidy Shaw dead. Their third member of the “Triple Threat Club” and beloved friend killed senselessly in her apartment for seeming no reason.01 Eyes of Justice

At first, they suspect her abusive ex-boyfriend cop because that is where all the clues point. However, Portland PD is not playing ball with them and when it becomes obvious that Nicole and Allison might be targets as well, they enlist the aid of eccentric Private Investigator Ophelia to find the true culprit and who else might be involved.

Once again, the authors weave together a murder mystery that is brilliant, personal, and one that will bring you to the edge of your seat. You will be up all night reading this mystery, wanting to know: what happens next?

I hope they partner again to write a new mystery, or even a spin-off series. Many have compared it to James Patterson’s Women’s Mystery Club. I have not read that particular series, but I can tell you that the Triple Threat series is far superior to many other detective and murder mystery novels I have read in the past.
