I’m going to not choose for Superman since Henry Cavill was satisfactory or Batman since DC intends to bring themselves to bankruptcy with the dumbest casting decision EVER!!! Instead, I am going to cast for founding Leagues and 1 or 2 extra.
Wonder Woman- Jennifer Morrison- I can totally see her as the Amazon Princess, and probably the greatest super heroine ever. Jennifer’s role in Once Upon A Time is absolutely a prep for that and brings her to full circle.
Hal Jordan (Green Lantern)- Nathan Fillion- He has voiced the character several times for DC Animated films and I believe he should have been cast instead of that awful film that shall not be named. He’s got the voice, the look, and the attitude of GL.
Hawkman- Dwayne Johnson- He embodies savage and I believe he could pull off the roll spotlessly.
Hawkwoman- Michelle Rodriguez- She would make an excellent and powerful performance as the wife of Hawkman.
Cyborg- LL Cool J- He’s one of the greats! He would pull off this roll flawlessly and put all other posers in their place!
Green Arrow- Aaron Tveit- TV’s Graceland proved that TV stars have good acting skills. Aaron would own the part of the emerald archer.
Aquaman- Bradley Cooper- I know Aquaman is somewhat of a joke these days, but with the New 52, they actually make him cool, and Cooper is cool enough for the part.
Steel- Tom Lister, Jr.- Okay, so no one can replace Shaq. Right? Just kidding. Anyway, Mr. Lister would own this part as the human inventor and the hammer wielding character known as John Henry Irons.
Black Canary- Aly Michalka- Okay, so we know her as child star, but she would be ideal for the role of the siren and Martial Artist heroine. Granted, she would need stunt doubles, but who cares?
Martian Manhunter- Morgan Freeman- There’s only one person who could pull off this character. Mr. Freeman would own the part, as he owns most roles he takes.
The Atom (Ray Palmer)- David Krumholtz was the super smart FBI consultant in Numb3rs. He would pull off the super smart Ray Plamer, though he would have to dye his hair.
The Flash- Josh Peck- Okay, so he would also need to dye his hair, but the kid is smooth talking like Barry Allen and would pull off the part!
What do you think? Who do you think would win this epic fight? Anyone else you would like to see do battle? Let me know in the comments below. While you are at it, here’s a link to my Batman casting ideas. Don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe for more posts like this one.
