In 2011, Matthew Vaughn was tasked with revitalizing 20th Century Fox’s Marvel Comics franchise with the prequel X-Men First Class. This movie was confusing to some fans because it seemed to have some inconsistencies. No worries, they would be addressed in the sequel.
Erik Lehnsherr (Michael Fassbender) and Professor Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) work with CIA Agent Moira MacTaggert (Rose Byrne) to form a team of X-Men including Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), Havok (Lucas Till), and Beast (Nicholas Hoult) to stop the Hellfire Club lead by Sebastian Shaw (Kevin Bacon) and Emma Frost (January Jones) who are working with the Russians to start World War Three.
This film does a good job of bringing the series back to its glory days by bringing in new actors and just as talented actors from behavior. The story is smooth and moves at a pace that is smooth. This pacing problem has been an issue with X-Men films in the past, but First Class brings it back to its roots of a comic book genre film that is based on something deeper. I think it does the series justice and certainly is a good addition to the franchise.

Jake,
Advice for a newlywed…as far as the toilet seat issue that most likely has been discussed or soon will be. Just make an agreement with your bride that both of you will put the seat down and close the lid when you are finished. It worked for me 28 plus years ago. It also keeps the dog from drinking out of the toilet. This way you don’t have to worry about the dog licking your face.

Congrats for your wedding..have a blessed marriage to you..:)
