Book Review- Hands Off My Gun

Dana Loesch is a great television show host, commentator, gun rights activists,  and radio personality. She has also proven to be a great writer.

Her book on the US Bill of Rights’ Second Amendment giving us the Right to Keep and Bear Arms is an eye opener. She recounts the history of the Anti-2nd Amendment movement and its deep-seated roots in racism and elitism. Dana also tells how though the liberal media would show them to be a grassroots movement, its actually bankrolled by left-wing billionaires like Michael Bloomberg.

Dana also does a fantastic job of defending gun owners by recounting positive stories of how using a gun in defense came in handy. She also eliminates some of the myths surrounding various atrocities committed by a person wielding a gun and how Europe (a virtual gun-free zone) is actually full of gun violence.

The only thing I did not like about is she kind of is repetitive when she talks of the scam artists at Moms Demands Action. She talks about them several times throughout the book and while I do agree they are scam artists, I thought it was mentioned more than necessary.

Despite that, the book is great for gun education. Be sure to pick it up at your local bookstores and buy copies for your friends. It is a great and a fantastic read.
