10 Scriptures About Hope

Hope. It is tough to come by these days. Often, it seems like it out of reach, but it is actually right there, sometimes just within view, but it always present. As a Christian, I often turn to the Bible to help me find inspiration when I feel I lack hope. In no particular order, here are 10 Scriptures On Hope:

The nations will put their hope in His name.” Matthew 12:21

“You will be confident, because there is hope. You will look carefully about and lie down in safety.” Job 11:18

“Now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13

“Be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the Lord.” Psalm 31:24

“But Christ was faithful as a Son over His household. And we are that household if we hold on to the courage and the confidence of our hope.” Hebrews 3:6

“We have also obtained access through Him by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.” Romans 5:2

“The hope of the righteous is joy, but the expectation of the wicked comes to nothing.” Proverbs 10:28

“We have this hope as an anchor for our lives, safe and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain.” Hebrews 6:19

“God wanted to make known among the Gentiles the glorious wealth of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Colossians 1:27

“Can any of the worthless idols of the nations bring rain? Or can the skies alone give showers? Are You not the Lord our God? We therefore put our hope in You, for You have done all these things.” Jeremiah 14:22
