#WaybackWednesday- Top 10 SEGA Dreamcast Games

SEGA! Remember that sound when a game would boot-up? That was a sound that every gamer worth his stuff would know. SEGA was way of its time with the release of the Dreamcast. They had all kinds of different games from various film and comic franchises. For a long time, it was my all time favorite system. Here is my list of my favorite twenty games.

Sonic Adventure: The legendary Sonic The Hedgehog is joined again by Tails the Fox and Knuckles The Echidna, as well as, the pink hedgehog Amy. It is unique as you are allowed to play as one of Dr. Robotnik’s lackeys.

Batman: Rise of Sun-Tzu– This is based on Batman: The Animated Series, specifically the The New Adventures of Batman and Robin. It allied a villain Sun-Tzu with Clayface, Scarecrow, and Bane for an epic showdown with The Dark Knight.

Capcom vs. SNK 2: Millionaire Fighting 2001– Characters from the Capcom world of Mega Man, Street Fighter, Final Fight, and others battle it out with SNK’s King of Fighters and Fatal Fury in a tournament that goes to the next level.

Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Power Battles– This video game allows you to replace Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi with others on the Jedi Council to see The Phantom Menace from a different angle.

Soulcalibur– This is a sequel to the famous fighting game Soul Edge. It explores several of the characters further in a final battle with Inferno, who uses a magic sword to defeat his opponents.

Sonic Adventure 2- This game introduces Rogue The Bat and Sonic’s evil twin Shadow The Hedgehog. It is also the last time that Eggman is referred to as his true name as Dr. Robotnik.

The King Of Fighters 2000– Terry Bogard and his friends are back in the twenty-first century. This is a tournament style video game where you can play some very powerful characters.

Spider-Man– The iconic Marvel Comics hero is framed by Dr. Octopus and Mysterio. As the police are after him, he find himself teaming up with Venom and Black Cat to fight villains who are planning to unleash alien symbiotes in New York.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater– I am not much of a skater, but I did love to play this game You could do all kinds of tricks as the famous skate boarder Tony Hawk. The more grinding, the more points.

Street Fighter Alpha 3– Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, and others take on villains like Akuma, Vega, M. Bison. The Alpha series served as a prequel to the main Street Fighter video games.

Those are my favorite Sega Dreamcast video games. Did I miss any of yours? Comment below and let me know!
