Graphic Novel Review- Star Wars Darth Vader Vol. 1

Written by Kieron Gillen and featuring art by Salvador Larroca, the ongoing Star Wars: Darth Vader by Marvel Comics released its first graphic novel.

Volume 1: Vader takes place in-between Star Wars Episode IV A New Hope and Star Wars Episode V The Empire Strikes Back. It features a suspicious Vader after he encounters Luke Skywalker during another run-in with Rebel Alliance. Unaware of Luke’s identity, he begins a search for the young rebel who has his lightsaber.

Meanwhile, Emperor Palpatine places Darth Vader under an Imperial general, forcing Vader to gather a small army of his own to do his bidding.

This is a great story and an excellent addition to how Marvel and Disney is redoing the Star Wars Universe. Fans should be pleased by the visuals and just the story overall. Check it out!

If you would like to order your paperback copy of my debut novel Cacophony: A Tale Of Faith And Fear, click here. If you want to download it for your iPad or tablet click here. The Kindle edition is now on sale! It is an incredible paranormal thriller about a group of demons trying to steal human souls by assaulting their church. The Messenger Gabriel, a Guardian angel Christopher, and the Seven Archangels are sent by God to stop them. It’s a tale that mixes drama, supernatural fiction, with a dash of fantasy.
