10 Scriptures For Faith

Faith. It is standing for something because you know it is right. It is having a belief, sometimes going against popular opinion, because you know it is the right thing. The Bible rates faith among the big three: faith, hope, and love. What does the Bible say about it. Actually, if you are Christians with some questions, here are 10 Scriptures For Faith:

So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. Romans 10:17

And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. Hebrews 11:6

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

For we walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7

And Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” Mark 11:22-24

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. 2 For by it the people of old received their commendation. 3 By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible. Hebews 11:1-3

You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone. James 2:24

So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13

Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. 1 Corinthians 16:13

So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. James 2:17
