#BatmanDay: Top 10 Quotes From The Dark Knight

For Batman Day, I decided to compile a list of my favorite quotes from the hit film The Dark Knight, starring Christian Bale as the Caped Crusader and Heath Ledger as the Clown Prince of Crime. In no particular order, here are my Top 10 Quotes From The Dark Knight:

  • Harvey Dent: You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.
  • The Joker: Why so serious?
  • Batman: Sometimes the truth isn’t good enough, sometimes people deserve more. Sometimes people deserve to have their faith rewarded.
  • The Joker: This city deserves a better class of criminal. And I’m gonna give it to them!
  • Lucius Fox: Let me get this straight, you think that your client, one of the wealthiest and most powerful men in the world, is secretly a vigilante, who spends his nights beating criminals to a pulp with his bare hands, and your plan is to blackmail this person?
  • Batman: What were you trying to prove? That deep down, everyone’s as ugly as you? You’re alone!
  • Alfred Pennyworth: Endure, Master Wayne. Take it. They’ll hate you for it, but that’s the point of Batman, he can be the outcast. He can make the choice that no one else can make, the right choice.
  • The Joker: I believe that whatever doesn’t kill you simply makes you… stranger.
  • Rachel Dawes: Let’s not do that again.
  • Batman: This city just showed you that it’s full of people ready to believe in good.

Those are my favorites. Which ones are yours? Let me know in the comments down below and don’t forget to subscribe for more nerd articles like this one.
