Today should be celebrated with the same gusto as the Fourth of July, Christmas, or any other holiday. Instead, we just give it a polite, “Oh, hey, today is the day.”
This should not be the case. Today is Veteran’s Day. It should be celebrated with fireworks, parade, pie eating contests, and sending thank you cards to the brave men and women who put their lives on the line to protect the United States of America and its citizens.
Take the time to thank Veterans for their service, no matter which war or theater they served in. They put their lives on the line so you could be free.
All gave some. Some gave all.”
