I enjoyed the novel A Cold Heart by Jonathan Kellerman so much, I decided to go back to beginning of the Alex Delaware mystery series When The Bough Breaks.
This novel introduces the child psychiatrist Alex Delaware, who also moonlights as a police consultant. An old friend from homicide calls Dr. Delaware to help him with the only witness to a horrible double murder, a child named Melody.
However, Alex discovers that there is a conspiracy brewing that permeates deeper and involves some of the most respected men in the Greater Los Angeles Area.
If you are looking for a great thriller or mystery that will keep you guessing and has lots of twists in turns, this is the novel for you.
