Music Review- Nicole Nordeman: Sound of Surviving

There is no doubt Nicole Nordeman has a beautiful voice. Her song Brave proves that. She is talented and her new album ‘Every Mile Mattered’ has the lovely gem of a song Sound of Surviving. It is a call to listen and to work through your problems with the help of God.

The opening lyrics were my favorite: They told me, I’d never get to tell my story, Too many bullet holes, It would take a miracle

While the song does not present anything new or is unique in Gospel based music, it definitely fits with Nordeman’s niche of producing uplifting Christian music for encouragement and inspiration. It is charming, endearing, and it brings a smile to your face. The lyric video adds to the atmosphere of the song, bringing beautiful images to a sweet melody.

If you would like to order your paperback copy of my debut novel Cacophony: A Tale Of Faith And Fear, click here. If you want to download it for your iPad or tablet click here. The Kindle edition is now on sale! It is an incredible paranormal thriller about a group of demons trying to steal human souls by assaulting their church. The Messenger Gabriel, a Guardian angel Christopher, and the Seven Archangels are sent by God to stop them. It’s a tale that mixes drama, supernatural fiction, with a dash of fantasy.
