My Favorite ‘Avengers Infinity War’ Mash-Up Trailer

Okay, so, since the dawn of YouTube, content creators have done trailer mash-ups. What that looks like is taking the audio of one movie trailer and put it to scenes of another. Avengers: Infinity War (read my review here) was not immune to this. They combined the nineteenth Marvel Cinematic Universe film with all kinds of various films.

However, there was only one that really cut the mustard, crossed the rubicon, sliced the cheese, and so on. Check out this mash-up trailer below, created by a YouTuber user named Dizzle Shizzle.

That is right, they took the audio from Avengers: Infinity War and put scenes from the Toei Animation anime television show Dragon Ball Super (yes it is mislabeled as Dragon Ball Z, the previous series.)

While it takes scenes from several episodes, it specifically takes from the second Future Trunks Saga, which involved a ridiculous amount of time travel. Goku Black (an evil version of everyone’s favorite Saiyan Goku), replaces Thanos as the main villain of the trailer. It oddly works very well. While most have been disappointing, the creator of this one did an excellent job.

Also, today is Free Comic Book Day. Go to your local comic book store, grab a free issue and then buy something. Support your them. They are the unsung heroes of nerd culture. Keep that in mind when you’re shopping at a regular book store.

What do you think? Are there trailer mash-up that you enjoy watching? Let me know in the comments below. While you are at it, check out my article on why Conservatives need to reach out to nerd culture. Don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe for more posts like this one.
