Lady Alchemy Graphic Novel Crowdfunding Launched

Performance artist, mathematician, and TheRebel TV host Martina Markota, an ally to this blog and StudioJake, has launched a crowdfunding campaign for her first graphic novel Lady Alchemy. This is a golden opportunity to support indie comic book creators.

According to its IndieGoGo page,

LADY ALCHEMY is the Burlesque Artist alter ego of Martina Markota, a rising star in the underground art scene in the big city. In the bustling metropolis of NYC, she discovers that her visions of a demonic world are real. She must control her powers, enter the dark realm and fight to free the city from a mind controlling media executive. Neon Noir meets cyberpunk wrapped around a hot babe in this illustrated action thriller.

It continues,

Martina Markota is an outspoken critic of the postmodernist anti-beauty campaigns in art and media. This story dives into her occult unveiling of the dark demonic forces behind these campaigns.

Markota has been at the forefront of calling out the left-wing bias in the comic book industry. She has helped lead the charge in holding the industry accountable. When the naysayers replied, “Go and make your own comics,” she provided an answer. Looking at the art samples and other promotional material, I believe it is a good answer. Check out her crowdfunding page and decide for yourself, but for me, I am supporting it. I believe that she has stepped up with her creative mind.

That is my opinion. What did you think? Let me know in the comments below and tell me how you support indie comics. Check out my post Ranking The Aliens Franchise Films. Don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe for more posts like this one.
