Lady Alchemy Graphic Novel Surpasses Crowdfunding Goal

Martina Markota, performance artist, mathematician, and TheRebel TV host (who is an ally to this blog and StudioJake) launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise money for her first graphic novel Lady Alchemy. When I first mentioned it, I said that it was a golden opportunity to support indie comic book creators. Turns out, I was right. The crowdfunding goal has been blown out of the water on IndieGoGo page,

This is incredible. Markota has been at the forefront of calling out the left-wing bias in the comic book industry. It fantastic that the graphic novel has surpassed its goal and now we can show the industry that there is a market for Conservative writers, artists, and creators. Lady Alchemy is a leap in the right direction.

According to its description:

LADY ALCHEMY is the Burlesque Artist alter ego of Martina Markota, a rising star in the underground art scene in the big city. In the bustling metropolis of NYC, she discovers that her visions of a demonic world are real. She must control her powers, enter the dark realm and fight to free the city from a mind controlling media executive. Neon Noir meets cyberpunk wrapped around a hot babe in this illustrated action thriller.

Created by Martina Markota and MG & CS / MAGNUM OPUS studio Productions

It continues,

Martina Markota is an outspoken critic of the postmodernist anti-beauty campaigns in art and media. This story dives into her occult unveiling of the dark demonic forces behind these campaigns.
