January 3rd is the official release date for the final season of the hit FOX show Gotham, which explores the early days of the Batman mythology from a dark angle. The last season has teased so many villains. In October, the producers released a pic of Shane West as the villain Bane. Some recently released cast photos that share some shocking information.
Cameron Monaghan, who plays twin brothers Jerome and Jeremiah Valeska, has often been compared to the Joker. Jerome was more of the 80s version of the Clown Prince of Crime, dark, crazy, and downright derange. Jeremiah appeared to be a more methodical and master-planner version we saw in the 90s and 2000s. Now neither went full Joker, but CBR reports on photo that showed Monaghan in full gear.
That is really cool. There were rumors that Warner Bros. were keeping FOX from using the full DC Comics costume, but hopefully this is not just a little Halloween fun, but a complete look at the Joker.
Another photo revealed by Gotham Hub, showed a cast photo with many principal cast members, including David Mazouz (who plays Bruce Wayne) in what appears to be a prototype Batman armor.
That definitely gave me the chills. Now we just need to see him in the cowl. Come on. Give us nerds and geeks something.
While I am hesitant about some of the casting for the villains and the proposed Alfred prequel, I do think this show will go out with bang. I’m looking forward to how it will end and hopefully, this will eventually get us a full Batman series.
