Music Review- Inoue Miyu: Boogie Back

What better way to celebrate the premier of Dragon Ball Super: Broly than to plug Japanese techno / pop star Inoue Miyu’s 2017 hit single Boogie Back? This song was featured in the closing credits of the popular anime series during the “Tournament of Power” saga and beyond, making it a hit in both Japan and the United States.

While the song is short, even for a techno-pop song, it is beautifully sung. Inoue Miyu has a beautiful voice that matches perfectly her musical composition to perfection. It is a catchy beat and even if you do not know Japanese, you will be humming the tune and repeating the two English line, “Boogie Back” and “Dancing, Dancing heart” over in your mind. The music video is also creatively made and showcases the beauty of Shibuya city in Japan.
