StudioJake On Princess State Of Mind: The Disney Prince and Superheroes

Author of Saving Cinderella and the Disney Princess Addict herself Faith K. Moore had me on her YouTube channel Princess State Of Mind to talk about the male side of the Disney princess saga. From Prince Eric to the Beast, how do princes fit into fairy tales and what do they mean for the damsels in the stories? We also talk about superheroes. Are their stories good for men and boys, and what exactly do the modern feminists get wrong about the superhero narrative? We covered a lot of ground in this interview.

As always, Faith was a gracious host and I want to thank her for having me on.

Check it out below:

Faith Moore also let me plug my new fantasy novel “The Seven Royals: All Good Things.” Buy your copy by clicking here. It is an adventure in a magical land with dragons, dark mages, vampires, princes, knights, and princesses. You definitely do not want to miss out.

What do you think? Let me know in the comments below. Tell me if there is a comic book, movie, or novel you would like me to review. While you are at it, read my movie review the Netflix documentary on the Fyre Festival and my reaction to Shane West’s defense of his Bane costume.
