Comic Book Review- Sonic The Hedgehog Issue 13

IDW Publishing continues with their Sonic The Hedgehog series, which relies on a lot of information given through the SEGA videogame series. In this series written by Ian Flynn with art by Adam Bryce Thomas, they continue along swimmingly.

Follow the events of the Battle for Angel Island, Knuckles the Echidna is back guarding the Master Emerald. Amy Rose is starting a ‘restoration’ of the land while Silver and Blaze return to what they are doing. Tail, however, comes to Sonic to help him save a village from the villains Rough and Tumble. This proves to just be a distraction as Dr. Robotnik and his new henchmen Dr. Starline are experimenting with turning organic matter robotic.

I am enjoying this series incredibly. It is so much fun to see Sonic back in action and doing what he does best. I do hope that Knuckles is incorporated more into the story, as well as seeing other characters like Nack the Weasel and Mighty the Armadillo. Time will tell if they decide to go that route. I am looking forward to seeing what they take the Robotnik story-arc now that he has returned to his evil ways.
