The Atlas Society released a new video on their YouTube channel titled “Victimhood Is All About POWER!” It tells a fable about Victimhood and how it partners with collectivism to spread fear and entitlement. The video shows how Karl Marx used socialism as a way to push victimhood onto all of society.

This video is certainly timely with victimhood acting as the celebrity and political currency. Instead of meritocracy or success as a sign of accomplishment, it is how a person was oppressed just based on what kind of hat that another wears on their head. While a person should be charitable and help their fellow man, victimhood is a disease that instead of solving problems in society, it creates more and thus creates more victims. It is a cycle of dependence that will never end.
