Happy Resurrection Sunday 2019! He Is Risen!

I know I shared this last year, but I had to share it again. Happy Easter or should I say: Happy Resurrection Sunday! This is a unique episode of my webshow StudioJake where I discuss my beliefs in Jesus Christ. I am a Christian and I am not ashamed of that fact. To celebrate our Lord and Savior rising from the grave, I’m laying down five core beliefs that are essential to my faith.

Check out the episode below:

By Faith Alone– We don’t need the approval of others by doing works. It is about putting your confidence in Jesus Christ.

By Grace Alone– It is a gift given to use. We don’t deserve it, we didn’t earn it, but Jesus gives it to use freely.

Glory To God Alone– Celebrate God! For this is the greatest commandment, “Love the Lord your God with all of your heart, your soul, and your mind.”

By Scripture Alone– No commentator, preacher, saint, philosopher, teacher, professor, or theologian has the authority that the Bible does. Jesus believed and He taught it. The Bible is the written Word of God, forged through the inspiration of Holy Spirit, to witnesses or their contemporaries, not some random person hundreds of years later.

In Christ Alone– Jesus Christ told us, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.” I believe Him.

At the end Holy Week, as we celebrate Resurrection Sunday, let us remember that Jesus is alive. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. He deserves all of our hearts and all of our worship. It is about love. Boring intellectualism or feckless platitudes won’t save you. Jesus will. From now on, let’s treat every week like it’s holy.
