Music Review- Lindsey Stirling: EndGame of Thrones

My favorite musician and violinist Lindsey Stirling’s album Brave Enough features the inspiring songs Forgotten City and First Light. She also does amazing covers like the theme from “Kingdom Hearts.” She released one of her newest covers where two great works for fiction collide. Marvel Studios theme to Avengers: Endgame meets the theme to the HBO adaption of George R.R. Martin’s novel Game of Thrones.

As usual, Stirling is stunning with her ability to play the fiddle and the violin. She does an excellent job of meshing the songs together. I will be honest, I have not watched a single episode of Game of Thrones, but I have heard the theme song and covers of it. Her combination of the two songs does really well.

Alan Silvestri, of course, composed the music for Avengers: Endgame and Ramin Djawadi composed the main for Game of Thrones. Two very different composers, so it is amazing how these two songs came together.
