New Christopher Nolan Film Gets A Title And Casting

The Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan has been keeping quiet about his next upcoming film, with very little information creeping out. However, the wait for more information is finally over.

Collider reports that the movie is to be titled Tenet and will be released to theaters on July 17, 2020. It features several returning collaborators including Hoyte van Hoytema (Dunkirk), production designer Nathan Crowley (Dunkirk), and costume designer Jeffrey Kurland (Inception, Dunkirk). Academy Award-winning composer Ludwig Göransson, who did the music for Black Panther, will handle the score.

The movie’s cast includes frequent collaborating actor Michael Caine (The Dark Knight Rises), John David Washington (BlacKkKlansman), Robert Pattinson (Remember Me), Elizabeth Debicki (Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets), Dimple Kapadia (Cocktail), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Avengers: Age of Ultron), Clémence Poésy (The Ones Below), and Kenneth Branagh (Dunkirk).

MovieWeb reports that Pattinson called the film “crazy” and that the spy thriller is the “length of three movies.” Whatever the case may be, Nolan is an expert in all genres, from drama to comic book to mystery and beyond. It will be interesting to see him delve into the world of spies and action with Tenet.
