The talented and award-winning actress Reem Kadem joins StudioJake to talk about her new film ‘Nawal enna Jewel’ known in English as ‘Nawal the Jewel‘ where she plays the starring and title role of Nawal. It is a heartening tale about a woman who is condemned to die in Iran after she fights off a male attacker.

According to her IMDb bio, Ms. Kadem is the Four-Time Winner of Best Lead Actress in the feature film “Nawal the Jewel” at The Amsterdam International Filmmaker Festival, The Milan International Film Festival of World Cinema, The Multilcultural Film Festival in California and Boston International Film Festival. She was twice nominated for this role in England as Best Lead Actress, at both The London International Film Festival and The North Europe International Film Festival, and nominated at The South Europe International Film Festival in Valencia, Spain.
