StudioJake 120- How To Fix The Batman Comics

“Jacob, all you do is complain about the Batman comics. Why don’t you offer any ideas?” Fair enough, in this very special episode of StudioJake, I discuss my all-time favorite Justice League member, detective, icon, and comic book superhero. How would I fix the current state of Batman comics and will DC Comics head my advice? It is doubtful considering that never listen to anyone and are found of flat out slapping the fans in the face.

Check out the episode below:

As a bonus, I discuss how politics is affecting the story. While Batman may be free of politics as far as the overall tone, they are clearing infecting the way the writers are taking risks in the stories they are writing. While Ten Nights Of The Beast was unafraid to tackle Cold War-era issues, modern writers swap dark and brooding for grim and angsty, making the stories less impactful on the reader.
