FightingTheVoid host Gingerman had Western Free Press movie critic Eric Blake and yours truly on to debate the “release the Snyder Cut” of the DCEU film Justice League debate. For those unfamiliar, Snyder directed most of the film, but after a personal tragedy, Warner Bros. took him off the movie and placed Avengers director Joss Whedon to see it through post-production and reshoots. Since then, Snyder fans have been clamoring for his release.
With Gingerman being a stellar moderator and Eric a very worthy opponent, we debate the Snyder Cut. Is it good? Is it bad? Will it get released? Will it affect the current state of the DCEU? Will it give Zack Snyder a comeback? Buckle up and get ready.
Check out the debate below:
According to the video description, “Jacob Airey of The Daily Wire and Eric Blake of Western Free Press come by to debate the merits of the Snyder Cut of the Justice League movie.”
I would like to say, Eric is an excellent sparring partner. Unlike most members of the Zack Snyder fanbase, he does not descend into mad personal insults. He really knows his stuff and clearly is passionate about the original vision of the DCEU. Our conversation, while spirited, was done in a respectful manner with Ginger as an excellent moderator.
