Music Review- Anthem Lights: The Lion King Medley

Caleb Grimm, Chad Graham, Joey Stamper, and Spencer Kane weave their voices together to form the band Anthem Lights. It is an incredible singing group that has covered many songs in an incredible fashion. This time, they put their vocals behind “The Lion King Medley” with a combination of songs.

Combining the songs from one of my favorite childhood movies, they weave “Circle Of Life”, “Just Can’t Wait To Be King”, “Can You Feel The Love Tonight” and a few others. Like their “Selah Medley,” they do a good job of mashing the songs together for a fun reminder of why we all love The Lion King. I was especially fond of the “Just Can’t Wait To Be King” segment since it highlights one of my favorite songs from the Disney animated feature.

The music video was simple with the guys just singing to an orange backdrop. It was not particularly special, but the aesthetics matched the song.
