Second And Third Seasons Of ‘The Rising of the Shield Hero’ Announced

A second and third season of the hit anime The Rising of the Shield Hero was announced at the 2019 CrunchyRoll Expo panel. The hit dark fantasy anime is based on a series of manga light novels Aneko Yusagi.

Bounding Into Comics reports that Naofumi, Raphtalia, and Filo will “have new friends and will fight new enemies.” This is an exciting development for fans of the series. The show has been a huge success in both the United States and Japan, despite SJWs whining about the themes in the anime show, it soared to popularity and created a loyal fanbase on at least two continents.

The Rising of the Shield Hero is produced by Kinema Citrus and directed by Takao Abo. It is broadcasted in Japan via  AT-X and in the United States by a partnership between Funimation and CrunchyRoll.

As a fan of the show, I am looking forward to seeing the adventures that Naofumi is going to go on with his allies.
