Dolly Parton is a legend, not just in country music, and nothing proves it more than when she sings with other bands like for King & Country. Teaming up with the Australian soft rock band, Dolly shines along with Joel David Smallbone and Luke James Smallbone in “God Only Knows.”
The song is an excellent testament to how God cares about you. Its lyrics are incredibly encouraging and talk about how, no matter the suffering, He is standing by your side. As for the talent, Parton and the Smallbone brothers work together in a tremendous way. Their musical skills and the cross-genre appeal is amazing. Parton is no “has-been,” she still has the powerhouse voice we know from her. Likewise, the music video perfectly captures the tones and themes that go in the forefront and undercurrent of the son
