The New ‘Sonic The Hedgehog’ Trailer Restored My Hopes And Dreams For This Film

After the disastrous first trailerdirector Sonic The Hedgehog Jeff Fowler announced that the character is going through a redesign following the backlash. This was a welcomed announced to fans of the SEGA hero who saw a bizarre furry in the original teaser. After a series of hopeful leaks, we finally got a new trailer that shows off Sonic’s new look.

Check it out below:

Okay, all my hopes and dreams for the Sonic movie have been restored. Better character design. Better music. And all around, just better. I am also happy to confirm that Jim Carrey will be playing Dr. Robotnik and the new moniker “Eggman.” Now, this film will no doubt be more like a kid’s movie with lots of action and innuendos to keep the adults entertained and cartoonish hijinks to keep the kids laughing. With this in mind, it is nice to see a movie company respond so rapidly to the fans instead of telling to shove it.

(I’m looking at you Warner Bros., LucasFilms, and Marvel Comics.)
