Music Review- Rend Collective: Sing It From Shackles

“Sing It From The Shackles” by Rend Collective is the latest in Gareth Gilkeson, Chris Llewellyn, Ali Gilkeson, Patrick Thompson, and Stephen Mitchell all put Northern Ireland’s best foot forward when it comes to worship and praise music to celebrate God’s goodness.

You’re my deliverer
You tear down the prison walls
When my heart needs a miracle
You will come through
You’re my deliverer
My anthem throughout it all

The song is about praising God in the midst of feeling shackled or chained. The lyrics are a touching and moving tribute to how, even in the midst of the chaos of life, God is our deliverer. The message is resounding and the writing is well done. I also enjoyed the composition of the music. It is catchy and definitely has a way of making you appreciate all that God has done for you.
