‘Venom 2’ Cletus Kassidy Pic Posted, Then Deleted By Tom Hardy

Tom Hardy posted a picture to his Instagram, revealing Woody Harrelson as Cletus Kassidy in Venom 2. He must have been yelled out by someone at Sony Pictures or by director Andy Serkis because Hardy deleted it a few minutes after that. Fortunately, the internet is forever.

Here is a screengrab that I posted on Twitter:

Despite movie critics declaring Venom to be a dud, audiences swarmed to it, giving Sony the idea to make a sequel with ‘Lord of the Rings’ actor Andy Serkis taking the director’s chair and Tom Hardy is returning Eddie Brock. Woody Harrelson is returning after a cameo in the first film as Cletus Kassidy aka the symbiote Carnage, one of the most terrifying foes that Spider-Man has never fought in Marvel Comics.

There are several rumors surrounding Venom 2, including a plot involving the villainous Shriek. Another rumor is that Tom Holland may have a cameo as Peter Parker as a photo seemed to show a sign that reads ‘Where is Spider-Man?’ Another Spidey spin-off Morbius seems to have a matching sign and an appearance by Michael Keaton, who played Vulture in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
