Music Review- Newsboys: Greatness Of Our God (LIVE)

From pop to disco to contemporary to hard rock to Christian worship, the newsboys have gone through several evolutions as a band. With their new single “Greatness of our God” from their upcoming album United, we see the return of former members Peter Furler (drummer, former lead singer) and Phil Joel (former bassist).

As I said before, this new single is an excellent testament as to why the newsboys have been around so long as a band. Sure, they have had their highs and lows same as any band, but their ability to mix engaging lyrics and excellent music has always been their strong suit. With both Michael Tait and Peter Furler, “Greatness of our God” is a perfect addition to your worship iPod playlist. It expresses the majesty of our Heavenly Father in a powerful and unique way.

Likewise, they sound good live. They have good beats and really care about their audience and always put on a good show for everyone in attendance.
