‘The Office’ Cast Reunites For Virtual Wedding On ‘Some Good News’

Actor and director John Krasinski surprised an engaged couple on his YouTube show ‘Some Good News’ with a wedding that featured a song by country singer Zac Brown and the cast of ‘The Office‘ reprising their dance moves from the episode “Niagara.”

After getting the weather report from Emma Stone, Krasinski played a clip of the couple John and Susan’s proposal at a gas station, which was reminiscent of Krasinski’s character Jim Halpert proposing to Pam, played by Jenna Fischer.

“Congratulations guys, you now have proved that proposal works 100 percent of the time now,” the A Quiet Place actor joked. The couple acknowledged that they were fans of The Office and that it was part of their relationship. John even told Krasinski that he mirrored Jim’s line, “I can’t wait any longer.”

A newly ordained Krasinski then surprised the couple by announcing they were going to get married on ‘Some Good News,’ with him officiating and also bringing on their family and best friends plus Jenna Fischer to serve as maid of honor on the call. Zac Brown joined the happy couple and played a romantic song on his guitar and there was not a dry eye on the screen.

That is not how the wedding ended, no, the cast of ‘The Office’ including Steve Carrel, Mindy Kaling, Ellie Kemper, B.J. Novak, Rainn Wilson, Angela Kinsey, Ed Helms, and several others joined in by dancing to “Forever” by Chris Brown, similar to the finale of “Niagra.” The happy couple and their families thanked John Krasinski before he signed off.

In these tough times, it is good to celebrate these happy moments going on all around us.
