StudioJake 107- Hollywood Award Fallout

TheBlaze’s Hilary Kennedy joins me to talk about the fallout from the Oscars and where Hollywood will go from here. Also, was ‘Green Book‘ really the best picture of the year? Kennedy points out that it is a ‘feel good’ that gave audiences a break. We discuss this and Spike Lee’s reaction to losing the nomination.

You can watch it here:

Hilary Kennedy and I talk about several of the films on the Best Picture list at the Academy Awards, especially which one should I have won. While I am staunch in the belief that A Quiet Place deserved the Oscar, Kennedy preferred Bohemian Rhapsody. We also discuss Netflix and Hulu, how streaming services are changing award shows. Recently, streaming services have come under fire with Hollywood insiders suggesting they do not to be given entry into the Academy Awards, following Roma‘s nomination.

What do you think? Let me know in the comments below. Tell me if there is a comic book, movie, or novel you would like me to review.
