Music Review- Zach Williams: Empty Grave

Zach Williams was inspired when he wrote the songs “Old Church Choir” and “Chainbreaker.” The former is an amazing tribute to the sound of gospel music. The latter is an incredible message about Jesus Christ and the freedom he can give you. With “Empty Grave,” from his new album Rescue Story, he gives a tribute to Jesus Christ’s resurrection.

The song does not yet have a music video, which is sad, but the lyric video does go with the theme. Graves our dark places, but for the first time in history, it became a place of hope. Check out these lyrics:

“I see an empty grave
I hear the heavens waking
Angels in jubilation
That stone’s been rolled away”

This portion of the chorus is an amazing celebration of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection. Williams’ lyrics truly show the passion he has for God and for spreading the good news of the Gospel. With his impressive voice and country-rock sounding composition, the song will not only have you humming along but tapping your feet as well.
