I am a harsh critic of, well, movie critics. They tell us one thing and, I’ll admit, usually they are right, but here are some movies that critics got WAY wrong.
- Indiana Jones & the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (Said it was good, it was terrible)
- Avatar (Nothing but a piece of over-hyped CGI remake of Fern Gully: The Last Rain Forest)
- Red Dawn (The remake. Critics did nothing but bash it, and while not spectacular, it was great)
- The Watchmen (Critics generally praised this flick, but it was weird, confusing, and too artistic for a superhero film)
- Superman Returns (It was highly praised, but the Bryan Singer remake was generally just terrible)
- Sahara (I was outright lied to on this one. While it has some problems, Sahara is a great action film)
- Gone (The thriller starring Amanda Seyfried was a great flick, but the critics thought less of it)
- Citizen Kane (Most critics have realized their mistake and trying to cover-up for lying to us about this incredible film)
- The Godfather Part II (While not as great as the first, this classic was not appreciated by the critics)
- Facing the Giants (While a B-movie budget, this unlikely hit climbed the box office charts)
