StudioJake 129- Can ‘The Mandalorian’ Save Star Wars?

On StudioJake, I discuss the new Disney Plus show ‘The Mandalorian,’ based within the Star Wars franchise. As The Rise Of Skywalker approaches, the anticipation for the film is dropping, not gaining. This is the first time a Star Wars movie has not gained momentum as it approached its theatrical release.

With this in mind, what does this mean for Star Wars fans? Perhaps there can be hope in ‘The Mandalorian.’ Jon Favreau is producing the series and is overseeing the creative aspect. With its growing praise and accolades, could this be what saves the science fiction franchise from doom?

Of course, you cannot talk The Mandalorian without mentioning the meme phenomenon that is Baby Yoda. This cute little fella has taken the internet by storm and I talk about how that is good for Star Wars.

What do you think? Let me know in the comments below. Tell me if there is a comic book, movie, or novel you would like me to review. While you are at it, check out my movie review of the 2019 Lady And The Tramp remake and my reaction to the Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) poster. Don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe for more posts like this one.
