Will ‘Endgame’ Tease The Fantastic 4 Or The X-Men?

With contracts of the top actors from the Marvel Cinematic Universe coming to a close after Avengers: Endgame, there has been speculation on who will take the franchise into the next level. Of course, Dr. Strange, Black Panther, and Captain Marvel are all characters who have been considered, but the excitement has not been as large with fans and audiences as first thought.

With the merger between Disney and FOX, the Fantastic Four and the X-Men could take over the MCU. This has led to speculation that Wolverine could have an appearance in “Endgame.” Some of the rumors were flying when a Google search turned up Hugh Jackman’s name with “Endgame” however this turned out to be a glitch in the search, not a confirmation. That being said, it is possible that mid-credits or post-credits scene could tease a young Professor X or Reed Richards. That would be more likely.

Whatever the case may be, Marvel Studios need to do something to stir up some buzz. Even with some sequels including Spider-Man: Far From Home, the interest has started to dissipate. It could be Kevin Feige’s newfound interest in political correctness or the fact that the main actors are departing, but whatever the case, a hint at the next stage might be better than trying to generate buzz by changing the gender preferences of the Eternals.
