#AmReading- One Flew Through the Dragon Heart (Favan and Flew)

My friend and fellow author C.S. Johnson does not only write graphic novels like Awakening, far from it. She writes science fiction, steampunk, young adult dramas, and so many other novels. Favan & Flew Book 1: One Flew Through the Dragon Heart combines steampunk and fantasy fiction taking place in Victorian England.

Brixton Flew is a professor of wielder instruction at Rembrandt Academy who is trying to work off a massive debt from indiscretions during his youth. However, his world is turned upside down when the woman who broke his heart, Adelaide, returns. She is after the Dragon’s Eyes, a magical item that can help tame her destructive magic. Unfortunately, others have their eyes on the magic of the dragon.

C.S. Johnson has a talent for action and romance, especially ones that are troubled. Brixton and Adelaide have everything against them, but they still fight for their shot at love. I do not mind telling you that this is my new favorite novel by her (and no, it has nothing to do with a dashing and quite handsome character named Captain Airey). In all seriousness, the genre-blending novel is excellent and one you will not want to miss. Be sure to pick up your copy.
